Description

First thing in the morning we took Tucker’s radiator to the mechanic our hotel owner helped us find. He said he could repair it. With that we went two up on my bike to check out some water falls and some hiking spots in the nearby towns. It was a little interesting at first, especially on some of the sandier roads because Tucker is 6’6” 220lbs. My usual pillions are 100lb women. Once I got used to it it was fine and we even had a few rocky hill climbs and a water crossing.

The first waterfall was awesome. Maybe 60’ high and really refreshing water with the air temps here in the 100’s. There was some sort of event there with about 50+ high school kids. Not the tranquil scene I was expecting but still a cool place. Next we headed to Santiago de Chiquitos to a hike up to a rock formation. We were treated with some epic rock formations, cliffs and views but the red parrots stole the show. Huge parrots squawking, playing in the wind and fucking with the large scavenger birds that were trying to relax on the rocks. Lunch in town and then back to work on the bike some more.
