After a very cold and moist night of little sleep where most of us chose to get in our sleeping bags while others (Shane) slept in all of his gear including his helmet we set back off on Window Rock trail to finish up the single track. Almost right away it got very technical…lots of 1st gear + clutch steep rocky sections. In not too long we found the rock that the trail gets its name from. Towards the end of the single track the trail opens up to a very long wash with many whoopy sandy tracks over a small mountain and then dumps into a dry lake bed. The lake bed was hard with a thin crust and made for a very slippery surface…unlike some others softer lakes where you have tons of traction. This made for a great a flat tracking surface so Jimmy set out to make tracks for a course while I setup the camera. We had fun tooling around the lake for a while and then blasted into Bahia to take the afternoon off, change oil, do minor repairs and relax.

(I was asked not to share the single track gps tracks do to them getting overrun.)
